My Poetry: Finding Light Monday, Aug 14 2006

When I enter a new room that I know nothing about,

It can be problematic when all the lights are turned out.

It can be extremely hard to find the light switch,

But is is a problem I have my own way to fix.

While it actually never has worked yet,

One of these times it will I bet.

I clap my hands one and two,

Cause someone still must have the clapper in a room.

My Poetry: Just so Ashamed Wednesday, Mar 8 2006

Today I felt all girly and lame,

What I did was quite a shame.

I usually sit with the TV going,

Most of the time I don’t even pay attention to what is showing.

Its on while I do things throughout my day,

Don’t know why, I just like it that way.
But today I glanced at the screen and felt like a disgrace to all,

As the TV was sitting on women’s basketball.

My Poetry: Ok Like Ok Wednesday, Mar 1 2006

Today I met this girl,

She was really cute

There was something a bit annoying about her though,

That I just couldn’t compute.

All I heard was:

Like like like like like like like like,

Like like like like like like like like soy latte like like like like like like like,

like like like like like Roosevelt’s first vice president was John Nance Garner like like like like

like like like like like like like like gingivitis like like like like like like like like.

Today I met this girl,

My Poetry: Halted Flight Wednesday, Feb 22 2006

A wonderous bird flew over the hills one day,

Glorious and majestic he traveled through the valleys and plains.

His wings were broad as he soared and soared

The beauty and grace was more powerful than a lion’s roar.

The same day a man was washing his car window,

He cleaned it high and he cleaned it low.

The glass was beginning to be as clear as can be,

If you looked quickly the window would actually be hard to see.

Now, this story could have been happy but its tragic instead,

My Poetry: Pitter Patter Wednesday, Feb 15 2006

Here is a haiku that I wrote. I really poured my heart and soul into this one. It goes a little something like this:

Clear turns to yellow

One stream now pitter patter

Drunk man needs more beer

My Poetry: Car Rides Wednesday, Feb 8 2006

At times when I’m with some friends and we have to go around,

I always have a fun thing I like to do before we go through town.

When we have to all get in the car for a ride,

I choose to sit with the most homophobic friend by my side.

What? Why you may ask?

Chill out, I’ll answer, just please relax…

For when the seatbelts must get buckled in, it can sometimes be a hastle,

The buckle and the holder will fight and will wrastle.
I won’t move my body and try to help him out,
